Repair and maintenance services of medical and precision equipment

Tender description

NHS Blood & Transplant (NHSBT) specialist laboratories and Blood Collection Teams use Tube Sealers to seal and/or separate plastic PVC tubing during the processing and collection of blood and components. We are seeking to engage with suppliers who are able to provide maintenance of existing and future Tube Sealers (static and hand-held) as our current contract ends 31.7.2016. Future Tube Sealers will be obtained from lot 7 of the LUPC framework agreement Generic Laboratory Equipment LUPC-LAB03 (2011/S 28-046174) which was put in place on 31.5.2016 by London University Purchasing Consortium (LUPC). Currently in circulation within NHSBT we have the following models in use: Baxter Optiseal; Fresnius Composeal; Haematron III; Sebra 2380; Sebra 1105 Handset; Sebra Sedler; Sebra Omni 2600; Sebra smart II 2500; Terumo AC155. At the time of publishing these are the models within NHSBT. However, this could be subject to change. Equipment is held nationally at centres and clinics, more detailed breakdown will be provided in the tender.
