Supply/Installation/Commissioning of Pulmonary Function Testing Systems: Respiratory Physiology at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield is looking to replace the current Medisoft SpiroAir systems used for its Pulmonary Function Testing. Supply/Installation/Commissioning of Pulmonary Function Testing Systems: Respiratory Physiology at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield is looking to replace the current Medisoft SpiroAir systems used for its Pulmonary Function Testing. Key requirements are: — The systems must be able to perform Flow Volume Loops, MIP and MEP, Transfer Factor by fast gas analyser and Lung Volumes via Helium Dilution or Nitrogen Washout; — The system must be of compact cart design and be suitable for a routine laboratory setting and ergonomically designed for ease of use and movement; — Body Plethysmograph must have clear waveforms and be capable of performing lung volumes by TGV, airways resistance (RAW) and single breath diffusion; — The system must be flexible enough to be able to increase its diagnostic repertoire either now or over its lifetime; — The system must have spare parts readily available from UK or within 24 hours from outside of UK and an engineer response time within 24 hours; — The system must be managed by suitable software to enable easy data storage, retrieval, manipulation and auditing requirements as well as enabling easy transfer of data to other software (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and be able to interface with the Trusts IT system; — The system must have option of a multi user license for reviewing data from remote work stations; — The equipment must be designed to facilitate effective and easy future upgrade, maintenance, cleaning and decontamination; — The system must provide good value for money over its entire life and provide value for money maintenance options; — The lead time for 3 cart based PFT systems and 1 Body Plethysmograph should not exceed 12 weeks.
