‘A Framework Agreement for the procurement of Infusion pumps and medical administration sets to provide the intravenous delivery of solutions and bloods to a patient. This will include but not limited to: 1) Electrical Infusion pumps — Examples include: — Volumetric Pump; — Syringe Pump; — Patient Controlled Analgesia (PCA) Pumps; — Syringe Drivers; — Anesthetic Pumps; and — Epidural Pumps. 2) Disposable Infusion Pumps. 3) Gravity Administration Sets — Solution Blood and Burette. 4) Volumetric Pump Dedicated Administration Sets. 5) Speciality Administration Sets — Examples include: — Epidural Sets; — TPN Sets; — Light Sensitive Sets; — Oncology Sets. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 87 500 000 GBP to 100 000 000 GBP in the 1st year of this Framework Agreement however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement’.
