Somerset County Council is intending to commence a procurement process at the end of July 2016 for a short-term reablement service. We are seeking interest from organisations that would like to provide these services in Somerset. The vision for Health and Social Care in Somerset is centred on encouraging people to stay well through a focus on healthy lifestyle choices and self-care. To enable this Somerset is transforming the way that health and social care services work together. This will aim to address the ever increasing demand on services due to demography. This Prior Information Notice Relates to a Pre-Tender Event. Interested providers are invited to attend a Pre-Tender Event with Somerset County Council in Taunton. Due to the venue size, we have to restrict the number of representatives attending to 1 from each organisation.
