Tender description

ESPO is working on behalf of Leicestershire County Council (LCC) and Rutland County Council (RCC) to undertake a procurement process to identify and appoint a service provider to provide a 0-19 Healthy Child Programme across both counties. This service is for the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme across Leicestershire and Rutland for children, young people and their families (aged 0-19 years). Young people aged 19-25 years with special educational needs and/or disabilities) will be provided with a digital offer. The programme will support families to ensure that their children grow up to be healthy, safe and able to achieve their potential. This service will integrate what are currently separate services for Health Visiting and School Nursing. Consideration has been given to dividing the service into lots. The service is being tendered as a whole so that an integrated service can be put in place which will: — Ensure consistency across the Healthy Child Programme between the 2 counties; — Enable resilience; — And to manage the available resource in the most efficient way. Please note that there are different contracts for LCC and RCC.
