Tender description

Prior Notice of Intention to undertake market analysis in consideration of future Command Support Aircraft for the Royal Air Force. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is evaluating its future requirement for small to medium passenger aircraft to fulfil its Command Support Air Transport (CSAT) role. The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to notify external parties of the intention of MoD to examine its procurement strategy for the future CSAT role and to advise that MoD will be engaging with operators, suppliers and owners within the market in order to better inform its procurement strategy. Organisations wishing to obtain more information regarding the role and performance required and also willing to support MoD in undertaking its review are to register via email to the contract authority identified at Section I). This PIN is not a means to submit a formal expression of interest in respect of any potential tender. Any potential resulting requirement will be procured subject to the appropriate European Union Public Procurement Regulations.
