Tender description

The current homecare framework contracts will expire at the end of January 2017 and The Council proposes establishing a new Active Homecare Framework for all new homecare packages required after 1.2.2017. This type of dynamic purchasing system will give the Council and homecare providers greater flexibility and ensure that all homecare is procured in the same way to provide excellent quality homecare to Havering residents. Applications to join the Active Homecare Framework (AHF) will be evaluated against set criteria covering areas such as quality, safeguarding, staffing and service delivery. This will assess provider's knowledge, experience, expertise and ability to deliver high quality homecare in Havering. Providers that pass the evaluation will be added to the AHF and issued with a contract. Following this any provider on the AHF will be able to bid to deliver any package of homecare advertised by the Council. The primary purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of prospective opportunities in connection with the London Borough of Havering. We are looking to go out to tender for a new Active Homecare Framework in September 2016 with the new contracts commencing 1.2.2017.
