Tender description

The works comprise the construction of 80 nr new build houses and flats together with associated access roads, pavements and external services. The site is located in the Middlefield area of Aberdeen in the North West of the city at an existing mainly grassed open area of land located immediately north of Manor Walk. The development shall meet all current and relevant standards and codes of practice for new build housing including those of variable needs. Aberdeen Heat and Power CHP plant shall be utilised to provide both heating and hot water to all dwellings on the site as part of this programme. The works are to be completed and handed over to the Council in three consecutive phases. Due to the nature of the site full planning permission is not required, planning shall be dealt with as a permitted development by the planning authority.
