Wigan Council Short Contract for Minor Highway Repairs

Tender description

This contract is to carry out highway maintenance minor repairs to the boroughs highway network which have been identified from scheduled highway safety inspections and customer enquiries. In the main these repairs will be isolated/individual repairs e.g. emergency pothole repairs, relay flags, repair deteriorated areas of macadam footway and carriageway and to adjust ironwork. The employer will issue work tickets in batches within specific areas of the borough for efficiency wherever possible. It may be required that the contractor visit numerous sites within the borough in order to carry out individual minor repairs identified from scheduled highway safety inspections.
