The Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre, widely known as ‘The Tube’, was installed in Cardiff Bay in 1990 and was finally dismantled in 2010 with the steel frame currently being stored in Cardiff Docks. During its life it was twice dismantled, relocated and re-assembled. This PIN notice is to offer an opportunity for the market to provide an expression of interest in purchasing the ‘The Tube’, currently dismantled and stored on Council land, for the purposes of re-assembling and re-using. Please note that the Council offers no guarantee as to the condition or suitability of the Tube for re-use and interested parties are advised to arrange inspection.
