Tender description

This contract is for providing support for and further development of the global production modelling and data assimilation system of CAMS operated at ECMWF in the area of aerosols representation in the troposphere and stratosphere. The contractor will provide: — Aerosol processes representation schemes, including also removal parameterizations and dynamical source parameterizations for use in the CAMS global production system; — A tested prototype of a 1D-Var retrieval algorithm for aerosol optical depth; — Memoranda and reports. Besides, the contractor will provide advice and support for the team developing the global production system at ECMWF.
