Tender description

Repair and maintenance services of electrical and mechanical building installations. Repair and maintenance services of electrical building installations. Extraction ventilators. Fans. Repair and maintenance services for pumps, valves, taps and metal containers and machinery. The Council has procured 2 separate contracts; 1 for the provision of maintenance services to extract fans and another for the provision of maintenance services to boosted water pumpsets. The contracts are for a fixed term period of 5 years with a provision to extend for a further period of up to 2 years. The planned commencement date is 1.10.2016. There are approximately 165 sites (accounting for over 380 fans) covered by the communal extract fans contract (plus 3 smoke detector blocks). There are approximately 144 residential blocks (with 126 cold water booster sites) covered by the boosted water pumpsets contract (plus 15 sump pump sites). This contract is for the maintenance of communal extract fans across the Council's owned housing estates throughout the borough. There are approximately 165 sites (accounting for over 380 fans) covered by the communal extract fans contract (plus 3 smoke detector blocks). This contract is for the maintenance of the boosted water pumpsets that serve residential properties on the Council owned housing estates.
