Tender description

The UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) proposes to place a contract with Babcock International Group for the Maritime Equipment Transformation Programme (MET) Lot 14: Pumps — Incentivised Upkeep Cost Reduction (IUCR) Contract. The Contract covers an Incentivised Upkeep Cost Reduction (IUCR) arrangement supporting all legacy and as appropriate, future warship and submarine platforms across the Fleet. The Pumps Lot covers approx. 246 different pump types (both 1st level and non-1st level) across a range which supports the ability to pump fuel, fresh water, sea water, sullage and aviation fuel. The submarine element consists of: trim pumps, extraction pumps, feed pumps, general service pumps and bilge and ballast pumps. The remaining element consists of: aviation fuel pumps, HP salt water and fire fighting pumps, mobile pumps, salt water LP circ. pumps, chilled water circ. pumps, fuel supply and transfer pumps, fresh water circ., lube supply and transfer pumps, sanitary pumps, sullage and stripping pumps, portable salvage and educators pumps and hand pumps.
