NHS PCU - Personalised Commissioning in York and North Yorkshire Healthcare

NHS Partnership Commissioning Unit representing: • NHS Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby CCG • NHS Harrogate and Rural District CCG • NHS Scarborough and Ryedale CCG • NHS Vale of York CCG Wish to engage with providers to share future commissioning intentions and discuss plans to implement personalised healthcare, including personal health budgets. The Commissioners are hosting an an event on the 26 July 2016 from 14:00 - 17:00 further details will be shared on completion of the registration form in the suppliers attachment area on the portal. The Commissioners are looking to put in place arrangements that support personal health budgets and explore more personalised ways of delivering healthcare in the future. Extensive engagement has already taken place with service users, carers and other stakeholder groups which we will share at the event. We are looking for providers who can bring added value to the local network of personalised support for our most vulnerable patients. As outlined in the NHS Five Year Forward View and Care Act 2014 the local NHS is committed to providing increased choice and control for patients, particularly those with long-term or enduring health conditions. Our local offer for Personal Health Budgets is aimed at those with CHC funded care, and we aim to extend this for young people, those receiving Section 117 aftercare, and people with complex Learning Disabilities.
