Tender description

The contract will cover a range of patient identification wristbands used when patients are admitted into Hospital. The wristbands are specifically designed for use with dedicated printers and will display immediate and relevant information about the patient. The NPSA published guidelines in 2007 for a recommended standardisation of design and colour (white as standard, red for allergy) and for wristbands to become ‘printed’ as opposed to hand written/ writeable. The range of wristbands includes Adult, Paediatric and Neonatal sizes both in White and Red that are compatible with the printers used in each individual Health Board.
