Tender description

In April 2015 Velindre NHS Trust — the Contracting Authority (acting on behalf of the NHS Wales Health Boards listed in section VI.3) of this notice) awarded a framework agreement for the services listed in II.2.4) below (the ‘Framework’). The tender process which established the Framework provided for a refresh of the Framework circa 18 months from its commencement (the ‘Refresh’). Accordingly, the Contracting Authority now seeks to undertake the Refresh. Note: Further information is set out in a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) and Project Information Memorandum (PIM) (see section VI.3) of this notice for details). Scope of the Refresh: a) Invite potential new service providers to tender for appointment onto the Framework; b) Allow current Framework service providers (subject always to an appraisal as to their financial / economic standing and sustainability) to vary their service offering in terms of: (i) revising their pricing (upwards or downwards); and (ii) apply to add new sites/units onto the Framework. The scope of the services under the Framework are: Lot A — Low Secure Tier 4 CAMHS — Male; Lot B — Low Secure Tier 4 CAMHS — Female; Lot C — Acute Tier 4 CAMHS — Male; Lot D — Acute Tier 4 CAMHS — Female. The duration of the Framework was for an initial period of three (3) years from 1.4.2015 with an option to extend, at the Contracting Authority's sole discretion, for an additional period of up to two (2) years (in 12 month tranches). Service providers already appointed to the Framework are not required to respond to this notice.
