Advertisement for Market Engagement Event: Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (Arden & GEM CSU), on behalf of the NHS England — Health and Justice Team (the commissioners) would like to notify all potential bidders about a ‘Market Engagement Event’ which has been planned to take place on Wednesday, 20.7.2016. This event has been arranged to provide information about the upcoming procurement of integrated offender healthcare services at Her Majesty's Prison (HMP) Gartree and HMP Whatton. The event will explain what services are being tendered for, specific prison demographics and population profiles, an overview of the procurement process itself including time-scales, as well as providing an opportunity for exchange of information and contacts between providers and lead bidders. Details of the event are as follows: Wednesday, 20.7.2016, 10.30-12.00. The Jurys Inn Hotel, Station Street, Nottingham, NG2 3BJ. In addition to the Market Engagement Event, the commissioners have also planned ‘prison site visits’ which will provide potential bidders with the opportunity to visit the sites where the services will be provided from. Details Timings: Meet at the gate at HMP Whatton, undertake security checks 10:15 prompt ‘Prisoner Journey’ tour, followed by walk-through of healthcare and related facilities 10:30. Leave HMP Whatton, 11:30 prompt. Site visit for HMP Gartree, Gallow Field Road, Market Harborough, LE16 7RP. Monday, 25.7.2016. Details Timings: Meet at the gate at HMP Gartree, undertake security checks 10:15 prompt. ‘Prisoner Journey’ tour, followed by walk-through of healthcare and related facilities 10:30. Leave HMP Gartree, 11:30 prompt. A maximum of 2 people per organisation are invited to each of the site visits. The names of attendees must be sent to: Neelam.Saroe@ardengemcsu.nhs.uk no later than 3 working days before the date of the site visit. Last minute changes of attendee names will not be accepted. Visitors must abide by the ‘Controlled Articles’ protocol. Banned items include though are not limited to electrical devices including mobile phones, laptops, any metal objects, medication and chewing gum. Both prison gate houses have lockers fort the safe storage of personal items/valuables. Visitors must have photo ID: passport or driving license.
