Construction, foundation and surface works for highways, roads

Tender description

****Contract Award Notice**** The Isle of Anglesey County Council Highways in collaboration with Horizon Nuclear Power wish to set up a Framework Contract with suitably experienced Highway Construction and Civil Engineering Contractors. The Framework shall be used to deliver new highways, highways improvements, other associated civil works and any other related works required by IoACC and Horizon. The Framework will be divided into 3 lots, with expected value range being; Works less than 1 000 000 GBP in value; 1 000 000 GBP and 5 000 000 GBP in value and Works over 5 000 000 GBP in value. Contractors will only be able to tender for 2 out of the 3 lots, and by introducing a range of values the intention is to make tender opportunities comparatively accessible to a wider range of business sizes. It is envisaged that approx. 3-5 contractors will be appointed to each lot, following the tendering process conclusion towards the end of this year. Successful contractors on each Lot will then be invited to tender at call off stage. All further information will come through the Sell2Wales portal so it is important that all Contractors are registered on Sell2Wales.
