Catering provision for SDC offices

Tender description

From August 2016 Sedgemoor District Council are seeking a café style catering service to meet the needs of personnel located at their offices in King Square Bridgwater. The offices are situated in King Square Bridgwater and has a café located on the lower ground floor. The offices host approx. 400 employees at any one time including SDC staff, Somerset County Council staff and council members and their visitors. The café has seating capacity for 50 covers at any one time. The offices / café are not open to the public and are in the centre of a busy town which allows staff to vacate the building and seek alternative catering options – therefore there is no guarantee of minimum usage and usage does vary on a daily basis. Contractors may suggest suitable ideas to offer options that will deliver the optimal service with suppliers being responsible for taking payments/invoicing and ensuring that the service they are providing can be profitable for them. SDC do not anticipate being able to offer a subsidy and therefore are seeking details of the service that you can offer at nil cost to the council. Keywords: hospitality, refreshments, catering
