Tender description

Sellafield Ltd has been working to determine the form and strategic need for a market enhanced Site License Company (SLC) concept. We have consulted widely at a high level within both the business, NDA and externally through soft market testing and, in doing so, benchmarked our developing requirement against other collaborative relationships within the public and private sectors. Following the MEM Technical Dialogue, SL has refined its strategies and confirmed that the need for a long term Project and Programme Partner (PPP) is paramount. SL has enhanced its thinking as to the potential construct of this model and how it would integrate onto the SLC business. Further dialogue is now required to test: (1) How the PPP Model might operate in practice; (2) Whether the approach is optimal; and (3) The attractiveness to the supply chain. The outcome of this phase will then support the further development and refinement of the procurement approach and principles.
