Tender description
Norfolk County Council require a supplier to provide and manage a waste data management system. The aim of the waste data management system is to reduce the reliance on separate reporting systems and on manual data entry subsequently improving resource efficiency and the accuracy/reliability of Norfolk's waste data ultimately ensuring value for money for the Norfolk tax payer. The system will have 4 main functions: — Vehicles Registrations; — HWRCs; — Recycling Credits; — Residual Waste. A draft specification is available on request to any interested party — please email: Daniel.Beenham@norfolk.gov.uk Publication of the Invitation to Tender is scheduled for mid/end July. The County Council wishes to achieve ‘live’ use of the system from 1.4.2017. Therefore, the intention is to award the contract in October 2016 with a view to allowing time for set up, testing and implementation prior to April 2017.
