School catering services

Tender description

The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at Hinchingbrooke School. The contract is for a 5 year term with a commencement date of 1.9.2016, there will also be the option to extend the contract for a further 2 years by mutual consent, making the total contract tenure a maximum of 7 years. The tender project is seeking to appoint a Contractor whose initiative and innovation will be welcomed for the provision of service within the existing facilities for the students, teaching and support staff, with a focus on exciting new food concepts to satisfy a wide range of pupil tastes and dietary requirements. The School would wish the successful contractor to review the current range of services offered and make recommendations accordingly. It will operate as a Guaranteed Performance Contract, with the successful Contractor offering the School a guaranteed return / cost per annum for the provision of core catering services. Sovereignty of the cash tariff is to remain with Hinchingbrooke School for the duration of this contract.
