Tender description

In line with the Regulatory Reform Order 2005, Guildford Borough Council is responsible for undertaking Fire Risk Assessments on a variety of properties including residential, commercial and industrial. The properties fall within Housing Revenue Account (HRA) for Housing Assets and non HRA for Public Buildings. This project will be managed by Guildford Borough Council's Asset Development Team, who are responsible for managing the non HRA Council's Public Buildings. The Council's key contact for this project will be an Asset Development Surveyor. The Council is seeking to appoint a suitable qualified, competent Consultant to undertake Fire Risk Assessments in line with the design brief and schedule of properties. These works will be carried out over a three-year period. The 1st phase of surveys will be carried out June 2016 - November 2016.
