Tender description

This contract is for providing support for and further development of the global production modelling and data assimilation system of CAMS operated at ECMWF in the area of greenhouse gases representation in the troposphere and stratosphere. The contractor will provide: — An improved representation of methane fluxes from natural wetlands for use in the CAMS global production system; — A full assessment of the use of satellite observations of solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) to further optimize the land surface model used in the CAMS global production system; — Retrieval products from the GOSAT satellite in a timely manner; — Memoranda and reports. Besides, the contractor will provide advice and support for the team developing the global production system at ECMWF.
