Tender description

Manchester City Council is inviting quotations for the provision of a Harpurhey Reservoir Retaining Wall Refurbishment. The objective of this project is place a 75m sheet piled wall in-front of the existing retaining wall to strengthen the flood defence capability to stop any contaminated reservoir water from discharging into the River Irk. Further to this a 1.45m wide capping beam will be placed on the wall with a 1.25m high safety handrail to act as a safe pedestrian walkway along the reservoir. Keywords: refurbishment
