Provision of Advice, Guidance and Support about Direct Payments and Individual Service Funds

Tender description

The service will provide an impartial and individualised direct payment information, advice, guidance and support service covering all aspects of Direct Payments and Individual Service Funds including practical assistance in managing associated duties and responsibilities. Where the service is delivered to young people or parents or carers of children who are disabled it will work to meet the identified needs of the child or young person and empower those recipients to make best use of the flexibility and personal choices that Direct Payments offer to them on an individual basis. Providers will need to be able to give expert support, guidance and advice in the following areas where required and where the same will not conflict with the providers of the Personal Assistant (PA) Register commissioned by the Commissioning Partners.
