Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGEM CSU) on behalf of Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (LC CCG) sought suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver the Open Mind (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies and Primary Care Mental Health Facilitators Services) in Leicester City. The Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme aims to increase the availability of National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) recommended psychological treatments for depression and anxiety disorders within NHS commissioned services in England. IAPT offers a realistic and routine 1st-line treatment, combined where appropriate with medication. Delivery of IAPT is fundamental to the successful implementation of the national mental health strategy, no health without mental health. This strategy, aims to: — Improve the mental health and well-being of the population and keep people well; — Improve outcomes for people with mental health problems through high-quality services that are equally accessible to all. In addition, The Primary Care Mental Health Facilitator service supports implementation and success of the national mental health strategy, no health without mental health, which aims to: — Improve the mental health and well-being of the population and keep people well; — Improve outcomes for people with mental health problems through high-quality services that are equally accessible to all. The Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation was available from 15.6.2015 and the deadline was 17:00 on 10.8.2015. All submissions were evaluated using the scoring criteria which is contained within the ITT — Document 1. The services to which this notice relates fall within Part B of Schedule 3, Part 10 of the Public Services Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) (‘the Regulations’).
