Tender description

Our Council intends to set up a Framework Agreement for Care at Home and Housing Support (Specialist) (Adults) Services and Care at Home (Non-Specialist) (Older Peoples) Services. The estimated value of the contract over 4 years is approximately 90 000 000 GBP across the service areas. This is an indicative value only and no guarantee is given with regard to the Council's overall uptake of any resulting contract. The Framework Agreement will be for 2 years from 1.10.2016 to 30.9.2018 (or other mutually agreed dates) with the option to extend for 2 further periods of 12 months each. Appropriate registration with the Care Inspectorate is an essential requirement for Providers to be included in the Framework Agreement. Tender submissions from Providers not currently registered with the Care Inspectorate will be evaluated but will not be included in the Framework and not awarded work under the Framework Agreement until appropriate registration is in place.
