Tender description

Doncaster Council's are currently scoping our existing arrangements/ services in promoting and facilitating access to Direct Payments, including money management and associated support services. This includes consideration of; appointee-ships, deputy-ship services, and the support given to those who are employing/ being employed as a PA (employing and Payroll services etc.) The Council seeks to work more closely with the community in delivering these services, to achieve this, We would like to learn from provider's experience of personalisation services to further understand the needs of the local community; gauging experience, challenges and successes. Commissioners wish to invite interested providers to register an interest to feed into the current scoping of existing services and future demand. Once we have gauged interest, Commissioners will make arrangements to engage with providers either through engagement sessions/ workshops or 1:1 discussions. Through engagement it is hoped that Commissioners will gain a better understanding of the market's appetite and capacity to meet the personalisation needs of our local community. This will include discussions around the format of the service, in house and market capacity, budget viability, performance management and pricing/ funding structure, and service mobilisation. This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice, and relates only to pre-procurement market engagement event and 1 to 1 discussions. For the avoidance of doubt, participation in any pre-procurement discussions with Commissioners is not a guarantee of a formal procurement process; the commissioners will take a decision on if to/how to procure these services at a later date.
