Tender description

Suffolk County Council will soon be going out to tender for the ‘Provision of Independent Advocacy in Suffolk’. The aim of the contract / service is to: — Continue fulfilling statutory obligations to provide Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy, Independent Mental Health Advocacy, NHS Complaints Advocacy and Care Act Advocacy. — Provide non statutory formal advocacy to enable people have choice, control and real autonomy. — Include less formal advocacy within communities to support statutory and non-statutory advocacy and promote the empowerment of the individual. Suffolk County Council is aiming to advertise / issue the tender at the end of August 2016, however prior to the tender being issued we will be holding a Market Engagement Event. This event will be held in Ipswich on Tuesday 2.8.2016 at 10:00 - 12:00. If you are interested in attending please email michelle.youngs@suffolk.gov.uk confirming the names of those attending.
