Tender description

West of Scotland Housing association was founded in 1965 and currently has over 3 200 properties located within west central Scotland. West of Scotland Housing Association are seeking to enter into a contact with a suitably experienced contractor who can supply them with a service for all open space grounds maintenance from 2016 to 2019, with possible annual extensions (up to a maximum of 2 additional years) subject to satisfactory performance. The Sites: The sites are distributed across the following regions as summarised below: Ayrshire — 16nr sites; Glasgow — 16nr sites; Glasgow East — 13nr sites; Lanarkshire — 39nr sites. Planned Open Space Maintenance Works and Reactive Repair Works: The works required include: Grass cutting; Shrub bed and shrub maintenance; Hedge bed and hedge maintenance; Weed-killing; Tree maintenance; De-littering. Reactive repair works as required from time-to-time over the course of the contract.
