Birmingham Women's Trust is looking to award a contract for the provision of Automated Blood GroupingAnalysers. The range of tests will include, but is not limited to, the following:  ABO and RhD grouping for adults (full and check) and neonates. 3 or 4 red cell antibody screen by IAT DAT Antibody identification panel, to include both enzyme treated and IAT cells. Secondary identification panel to include Rh D negative cell panel and c negative cell panel. Weak/ Variant D typing Miscellaneous red cell phenotyping. Titres Serological Crossmatching The contract will be on a reagent rental basis and will include equipment, consumables and maintenance. Contract will be 5 years plus an option to extend for up to a further two twelve month periods.
