To establish Suffolk as a great place to create, produce and locate screen production. Suffolk County Council, on behalf of Suffolk’s Local Authorities, and with the support of key people working in the screen industries, is seeking a dynamic, experienced, networked contractor to: • Position Suffolk as a diverse, culturally rich and talented place that can meet the needs of local, national and international screen industries. • Network and build on the existing community of screen industry professionals based in the county, fostering a cohesive and collaborative culture. • Attract the screen industries, and all associated disciplines, to generate growth and inward investment. • Establish, film friendly licensing and permissions across Suffolk’s local authorities that are efficient, effective and include robust measures to ensure residents and businesses are able to support screen productions in Suffolk. We welcome bids from individuals, consortia and agencies with direct, up to date knowledge of the screen industries and the key people working within it, locally and nationally. This is the beginning of a long term commitment to growth in this sector.
