Tender description

Birmingham Women's Trust is looking to award a contract for the provision of Automated Blood Grouping Analysers. The range of tests will include, but is not limited to, the following: — ABO and RhD grouping for adults (full and check) and neonates; — 3 or 4 red cell antibody screen by IAT; — DAT; — Antibody identification panel, to include both enzyme treated and IAT cells; — Secondary identification panel to include Rh D negative cell panel and c negative cell panel; — Weak/ Variant D typing; — Miscellaneous red cell phenotyping; — Titres; — Serological Crossmatching. The contract will include equipment, consumables and maintenance.
