Tender description

South Lanarkshire Council invites offers from suitably qualified contractors for the provision of a comprehensive Chemical Analytical Bacteriological Examination service for the Environmental Health and Trading Standards functions. This contract is being led by the Environmental Services Section. Fleet and Environmental Services carry out both proactive and reactive scientific analysis and bacteriological examination of a food, drinking water and certain environmental samples on behalf of the Council. The successful Contractor must be able to provide the full range of services detailed in the Specification. This is a mandatory requirement Qualification envelope. The contract will have a Council only option to terminate early without penalty, on giving 12 months notice. The Contract that from this Tender will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for up to 24 months after the expiry of the initial term availability of funding and satisfactory performance. It is anticipated that the Contact will commence on 01 July.
