Tender description

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who are seeking to establish a contract for General Chemistry and Immunoassay Analyser Consumables, Maintenance and Equipment for WEQAS. WEQAS is a National External Quality Assessment Scheme which monitors the analytical performance of diagnostic laboratories in the UK, Ireland and overseas. WEQAS is accredited to standard ISO 17043 (and ISO 15195 in combination with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for their Reference Laboratory. Bidders will be asked to provide details on: — The purchase cost for the equipment; — A price list of compatible consumables for use with the analyser; — Full maintenance costs within the contract duration. This Lot is based upon the Health Board purchasing the consumables for the General Chemistry and Immunoassay Analyser(s).
