Tender description

Network Rail are in the process of undertaking a trial of customer wifi at London Euston Station with a media partner — C3 UK Ltd. Network Rail intends to expand the trial to include London Bridge Station by a direct award to C3 UK Ltd for a period of up to 24 months. Due to technical reasons — to leverage economies of scale and efficiencies of the infrastructure being supplied for Euston this will not be subject to competition. Subject to the successful outcome of the aforementioned trials, expressions of interest are invited for the full deployment (up to 17 stations) of a wifi and digital advertising management and/or concession contract to be awarded through a competitive tender process. We wish to deliver a free public Wi-Fi service to all station visitors that provides a world class customer experience. The service should consist of free, engaging content, train information, internet access and targeted advertising. It should aim to build a long term relationship with our customers. The successful service provider will need to act as Network Rails Wi-Fi digital media and advertising partner, generating income from advertising sales delivered over the Wi-Fi service. A requirement to deliver, operate, maintain and manage a Wi-Fi service is also a requirement of the procurement The competitive process is likely to commence in Q2 of 2017.
