Adult Social Care – Community Micro-Enterprises Project

Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) is in the process of transforming its Adult Social Care services. One aspect of that work is to create with the community, all the building blocks for co-operative, community led support. The overall transformation project that will lead to a fundamental change in practices, systems models, and lower future costs, comprises two main aspects: 1. business improvement, financial models and tools, giving service users their own budgets; and, 2. a community based assets programme with communities and providers. The contract will be for up to 1 year with the option to extend for up to a further 12 month subject to funding and satisfactory performance. Knowsley MBC has an approximate budget of £62,000 to fund this project. For a full specification for this opportunity, please register you interest.
