Tender description

The Authority is tendering for the distribution of its tabloid newspaper, “Bolton Scene” under the Authority’s Framework Agreement. The standard edition is tabloid size (currently 37cm tall by 28 cm wide), 16 pages with a 123,000 print run. There is no guarantee of a minimum number of publications being produced; however the previous Framework Agreement period saw four editions per year. The number of pages can change on occasion due to a number of factors which includes but is not limited to number of adverts in any given edition and supplements of four, eight and occasionally more pages. Tenderers must quote a price for delivery of the standard 16 page edition, plus 12, 20, 24, and 28 pages. Tenderers must quote separate prices for solus delivery and delivery with other items. In the event that the Authority decides to take up the option to deliver with other items, the Authority will reserve the right to approve what is delivered alongside the Bolton Scene.
