Tender description

Multiple Needs — Prior Information Notice Barnsley Council will shortly be tendering for its new ‘Multiple Needs’ support service. The objective of the service will be to provide a support pathway to people experiencing multiple support needs, including (but not limited to) homelessness, substance misuse, mental ill health and offending, which will encourage, and empower individuals to take responsibility and control of their lives, and support them towards independence. It is anticipated that the service provision will be split into lots for clients aged 16-25, and those aged 25 and over, however, the final lots published at tender stage may change. Each will incorporate a range of accommodation options, which will include an assessment facility, short term supported accommodation, and step down dispersed provision. It is our preferred option to incorporate four existing purpose built units of accommodation in the new service, where this is economically advantageous to the new provider(s).
