Summary of the work To assist with the Migration of Exchange, sharepoint and DFS file share data utilising Dell Migration Manager Toolset (Quest) Specialist role Technical Architect Latest start date ASAP Who Speclialist Work With PM, PSO, Lead TA and Operational Resources What Specialists Work On "Validation of: -Proposal confirming scope and rules of engagement, specifications of migration -Dell Migration Manager tools -Migration approach/strategy document -Virtual server requirements for the migration servers/software -Network bandwidth requirements required -Network connectivity requirements for the migration servers/software Define Migration success criteria Installation and configuration of migration tools Initial synchronisation of the data Configuration and handover of: -differential synchronisations -daily migration/synchronisation reporting -Toolset Definition and documentation of the procedure to switch off the synchronisation and “go-live” on the target data source Production of Documentation to assist BAU. Daily Status Reports " Skills & Experience • Dell Migration Manager toolset (Quest) - Dell Quest Accredited • Migration of data between Exchange organisations (specifically Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013) • Link Exchange Mailboxes (via one-way Domain Trust) • Migration of data between SharePoint farms (specifically SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013) • Migration of Windows DFS file share data Work Location Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes. Initial Data copy will take place in Watford. Working Arrangments Resource will be required to be on site 5 days a week and interacting with the Lead TA and Operation Resources to achive the required tasks. Security Clearance DV preferred, however SC also considered. What is the expected contract length and budget for daily rate? Expected number of days to complete is 45 days with an allowance for possible slippage of 3 months ( inclusive of the 45 days ).We expect the supplier to provide their best day rate or fixed price for the completion of work. Suppliers may provide both day rate and fixed price for the completion of the work if they wish. 2. Can we ask the expected contract length and max day rate?
