SF/2416 Technical & Generic Training and Development for IT

Tender description

The University of Leeds is seeking to engage with providers of generic IT and technical training services. This is an exciting time for IT at the University. The demand on the service is greater than ever due to the University’s ambitious plans, all of which are underpinned and enabled by IT to a greater or lesser extent. There is significant investment in the IT; to ensure the delivery of a fit-for-purpose, customer-focussed service that can respond to the changing needs of the organisation. This is evidenced in changes in technology, systems, processes and ways of working. Developing the capability and capacity of the workforce is a major part of this process. Therefore, as part of a the wider transformational change agenda, the IT Executive Management Team have identified a strategic objective to provide appropriate training and development opportunities so all IT staff have the right skills, knowledge and behaviours to be effective in their roles.
