Repair and maintenance services of weapons and weapon systems

Tender description

The Lightweight and Medium Attack Systems Team, part of the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), intends to amend the existing Air Defence Availability Contract (LGW/4030) for the High Velocity Missile (HVM) System with Thales UK Ltd. This amendment will provide for continued full technical support and equipment maintenance and modification services from 2017, when under the current Contract those services are due to be ramped down, until Contract expiry in December 2020. Deliver Equipment and support to generate force elements at readiness and maintain the HVM Capability to include but not restricted to: HVM Weapon Systems, (Platforms,Trainers, Vehicle Installation Kits and related test equipment) servicing, maintenance and repair; life extension of the HVM capability including, Platforms, Trainers, Vehicle Installation Kits and related test equipment (Inc. HVM and LMM Missile); HVM Systems, Platforms, Trainers, Vehicle Installation Kits and related test equipment (Inc. HVM and LMM Missile) Configuration Management, Obsolescence management, upkeep and update; HVM and LMM Missile Surveillance activity; HVM System Technical Support Services; Safety and Environmental management Services.
