Tender description

Caerphilly County Borough Council (the Council hereafter) has awarded individual Contracts to a number of Operators for the Provision of Local Bus Services for Passenger Transport for a network of socially necessary local bus routes that complement the existing commercial network. The Council sought tenders for the provision of socially necessary local bus services. The procurement process for this framework followed the Open Procedure in accordance with EU Procurement Regulations. Tenders were evaluated based on the following as set out in the Procurement Documents: Stage 1 — Selection Response; Stage 2 — Tender Response: a) Mandatory Requirements; b) Priced Submission. The Council reserved the right to award contracts to 1 or more suppliers based on the most economically viable options available to it.
