Tender description

The Common Services Agency (more commonly known as National Services Scotland) (‘the Authority’) acting through its division National Procurement, is undertaking this procurement of Surgical Power Tools for the purpose of Orthopaedic elective, trauma, spinal, neurosurgical, ENT and maxillofacial procedures including delivery (‘Products’) on behalf of all entities constituted pursuant to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978, (i.e. all NHS Scotland Health Boards, Special Health Boards and the Authority or other NHS Organisation established pursuant to the NHS (Scotland) Act 1978), any integrated Joint Boards established pursuant to the new Public Bodies (Joint Working) Scotland Act 2014 (collectively hereafter referred to as ‘Participating Authorities’). Products include but are not restricted to battery hand pieces, pneumatic hand pieces, electric hand pieces, consumables e.g. blades, drill bits, burrs, accessories e.g. batteries, battery chargers, power cables. Provision of Large Bone Surgical Power Tools with Pneumatic Power Source and associated attachments, consumables and accessories. Provision of Small Bone Surgical Power Tools with Battery Power Source and associated attachments, consumables and accessories. Provision of Large Bone Surgical Power Tools with Electric Power Source and associated attachments, consumables and accessories. Provision of Small Bone Surgical Power Tools with Pneumatic Power Source and associated attachments, consumables and accessories. Provision of Small Bone Surgical Power Tools with Electric Power Source and associated attachments, consumables and accessories. Provision of Spinal/Neuro/Max Fax Power Tools with Electric Power Source and associated attachments, consumables and accessories. Provision of Spinal/Neuro//Max Fax Power Tools with Pneumatic Power Source and associated attachments, consumables and accessories. Provision of ENT Power Tools with Electric Power Source and associated attachments, consumables and accessories. Provision of Surgical Power Tool Consumables — blades, burrs, drill, etc. Provision of all accessories relating to the power tools products — batteries, chargers, cables, sterilisation cases, etc. Large Bone Surgical Power Tools with Battery Power Source and associated attachments, consumables and accessories.
