Request for Information for GP Urgent Transport NHS Sheffield CCG is reviewing the way in which it commissions GP Urgent Transport and wishes to understand whether providers would be interested in bidding for such a service in a future procurement. The length of any contract, the contract currency and the price are still for consideration, but the CCG would like to understand the market’s view on providing a responsive transport service for patients in Sheffield identified by GPs as requiring Urgent (not Emergency) admission / treatment at Sheffield Acute Healthcare settings. The service will deliver a high quality, reliable and cost effective transport service that meets the needs of eligible NHS Sheffield registered patients.
