Tender description

A framework agreement accessible to all public authorities within London, UK. It is expected that approximately 20 local authorities will initially access this framework agreement. The following figures are totals for all 20 authorities expected to use this framework agreement initially: The supply of approximately 25 000 000 GBP (net of re-purchase ‘collection’ credits) worth of community equipment / disability aids per year, to be delivered to, and installed in, individuals' homes. The provision of approximately 9 000 000 GBP worth of associated services per year including equipment storage, delivery, installation, servicing and maintenance, safety testing (Pat and Loler), collection, cleaning and refurbishment, repair, disposal/scrapping, and also refurbished specials management, minor adaptations, IT (provision of an equipment ordering and management system — including management information). The contract may also include a trusted assessment service.
