Tender description

Torus is an influential new housing group with a commitment to bringing affordable homes and job opportunities to the region and began to operate on 1.4.2015. Torus combines the strength, skills, local knowledge and strategic intent of two well established housing associations, Helena Partnerships based in St Helens and Golden Gates Housing Trust based in Warrington. Torus are going out to market to seek a Facilities Management provider with a proven track record of providing a complete Facilities Management service including both hard and soft facilities. Torus Group intend to award a contract for a period of 7 years (5 years + 2 years) for hard and soft Facilities Management services. Typical buildings that come under this management would be: Head Office buildings/local offices, Works depots, High rise units, Sheltered Accommodation Homes, Satellite offices, Communal areas. Typical Facilities Management services can be split into two categories of hard and soft facilities. Soft facilities will include (but is not limited to): Cleaning, Recycling, Waste collection/disposal, Building security, Handyman services, Hygiene services, Water Coolers, Grounds Maintenance, Caretaker Services. Hard facilities will include (but is not limited to): Building fabric maintenance, Air conditioning maintenance, Lift Servicing and maintenance, M&E plant maintenance, Fire safety system and security maintenance, Water control, RAMS/H&S.
