External Printing Services: Review and Procurement Options Advice

Quotes are welcomed from suppliers interested in working with the university on a consultancy basis to establish an effective and efficient external print procurement process with a view to reducing costs by a minimum of 10%, whilst also ensuring a service that is both flexible and of high quality. Key outcomes of from the commission will be: (a) A review of current external printing arrangements. (b) Research and investigation in order to develop options and a recommendation for procuring external printing services going forward. (c) Development of a service specification to form part of any required procurement process. (d) A final report collating all of the information from items (a) to (c) above together. The report needs to be complete and forwarded to the University by 30 August 2016.
