EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ONLY - Online solution for adult social care practitioners, including Social Workers and Assistant Care Managers

PLEASE NOTE – This is just an expression of interest – this is not a Procurement opportunity at the moment KMBC are looking for a provider to put in place an online solution for adult social care practitioners, including Social Workers and Assistant Care Managers, that will enable: • Immediate access to national policies, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005. • Support to develop documented local procedures • Smartphone access to a mobile policies and procedures out of the office • Links to a Policy and Procedures solution for the Council’s Adult Safeguarding Board • Updates following published case law and legal challenges • E mails sent from the solution to social workers to advise of policy changes. • Linked policies, so one change can be updated in multiple policies. • Certain policies and procedures can be made public, allowing residents, providers and interested parties access to appropriate policy and procedure documentation. • Printed procedures are watermarked to show the day of printing, reducing the risk of staff using outdated procedures • Used as a tool to support workforce training and policy understanding within the social work teams. • An interactive forum to allow social work discussions to take place. PLEASE NOTE: There are no documents to complete at this stage – we are doing a market test that will let us know if there are any providers out there that can fulfill our need.
